Auction Instructions

Bidding

Anyone wishing to participate in the WHS Online Auction must first complete an online information form. Upon completion, each bidder will be given a user identification code and password to use when bidding (note: this procedure only needs to be completed once).

Bidders must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the auction. Bidders are expected to honour all winning bids.

Bids can be made at any time of day. All auction items have an electronic bid sheet attached, which should be completed with the bidder's user identification code, password and bid. Each increase in bidding must meet or exceed the minimum bid increment. The minimum bid increment may not apply when a bidder has placed a maximum bid (see 'What is A Maximum Bid' on the electronic bid sheet).

Closing bids are determined on the bidding close date, which is indicated on the right-hand side of the item list. Successful bidders will be contacted by e-mail and/or telephone (please ensure we have an accurate e-mail address).

NOTE: We reserve the right to remove any item from the auction prior to the closing date or time if there are no bids on that item.

Payment

If you have bid successfully on an item, you may then proceed to make payment. Payments must be received by The WHS within two weeks of the bid closing. Please contact Melissa at (204) 982-3557 to make payment and arrange delivery or pick up. Delivery charges will apply.

Payment can be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, money order or cheque. Payment with credit card can be made by phone at (204) 982-3557. All other payment types must be mailed to:

PLEASE NOTE THE CLOSING DATE TO THE RIGHT OF THE ITEM. PAYMENT FOR ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF BID CLOSING.

PLEASE ALLOW 2 WEEKS FOR SHIPPING FOR REGULAR MERCHANDISE. PLEASE ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 2 - 3 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY.
